Anthony Worral-Thompson has always been one of my favourite chefs, simply because his style of cooking is uncomplicated and wholesome.
His passion for food is also not only a day job, but from what I see on BBC Food, his family also shares his passion and even when they are at home it is important for them to share good food.
So two years ago when we heard that he will be doing a few cooking courses at THE GOOD FOOD AND WINE SHOW in CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, my sister and I were the first to enroll. What a wonderful day it was. We did 3 recipes, but the most exciting for me was the hollandaise sauce - my first attempt.
Now, whenever I see Anthony on BBC FOOD, it is like meeting an old friend. Truly a great memory for me. Thanx Anthony.

Hallo,
I happend to be at the same show in cape Town and although I wasn't at your "cook out", I did get to see some work done by James Martin. Do you know who will be at the next show?
I have no idea, this year it was Reza and a few others,so I gave it a miss. Watch my blog for a close-up of James Martin the cutie...
