Yes, they are Sticky, creamy, gooey and chewy...

Susan from Sticky, creamy, gooey and chewy has posted these little bombs twice now and every time I think...."I should really try this!" Well yesterday I did and I can understand why they are called HOLYCRAPTHESEAREAMAZING COOKIES. You can click here for the recipe and where the cookies got their name from.
I had to tell my children that they are called HolyMoleytheseareamazing Cookies - we don't want children to start swearing over food, do we! Well they are 2 harsh critics, but I cannot keep their little hands from the cookie jar - they LOVE IT! Thanks Susan.

HolyCrapTheseAreAmazing Cookies

from Susan at Sticky, Gooey, Creamy, Chewy
Ingredients:
(Makes about 3 dozen cookies)
...
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 jar (18 oz ounce) peanut butter, crunchy or smooth (I like creamy.)
6 cups corn flakes
3 oz good quality chocolate of your choice

Preparation:

Combine sugar and corn syrup in a medium saucepan. Place over medium-high heat and stir until the mixture comes to a full boil.

Remove from heat and stir in the whole jar of peanut butter. Mix well.

Add corn flakes to a large bowl. Pour peanut butter mixture over corn flakes and mix well, taking care to coat all of the corn flakes.

With a tablespoon or cookie scoop, scoop out and form into 1-2 inch balls, depending on your preference, and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.

Put the chocolate in a small bowl and melt in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir until smooth.

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookies.

When cooled, eat these cookies with reckless abandon. Be careful, though. We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt!

Lets keep it clean for the children. They do look the sort of cookie that when you take a bite you would loose all control.

Thanks for stopping by and your lovely comment. And speaking of lovely.........I've seen these luscious looking cookies before, and now you've inspired me to get to work and make them. I LOVE both chocolate and peanut butter, so these ought to be a decadent treat.
