Fruity Ice Lollies

Fruity Ice Lollies, bring them on, we are ready for Summer.

These Fruity Ice Lollies are so simple to make, some have only one ingredient, I mean really? I love ice lollies, even more than I like ice-cream lollies. They refresh me in Summer and I don’t feel too bad for eating them, even though I know they have loads of sugar.

Exactly the reason why I am so delighted with the new Rhodes Squish Juice range.


Fruity Ice Lollies

All juices are 100% fruit and vegetables.

It is press juice and not concentrate.

The juice is preservative free.

It is colorant free.

There is no added starch in any of the juices.

The flavor combinations are just amazing.

All the juices are 100 % pure juice. Pear and Prune Juice Blend, Apple Juice, Apple, Grape and Carrot Juice, Summer Berries Juice Blend, Apple and Grape Juice with Rooibos Extract and Apple Sweet Potato and Butternut Juice Blend. I think this is just perfect for the picky little eaters.

I no longer have infants or even toddlers in the house, but they absolutely loved the ice lollies. Last year Rhodes introduced the Squish Baby Pureé and I used some of them in making my lollies. You are spoiled for choice, you can do any flavor combinations you want.

Guava and Apple Ice Lollies

makes 4

Ingredients

1 x 200 ml Squish 100 % Apple Juice
1 x 110 ml Squish Apple & Guava Fruit Puree

Method

Fill the lollie moulds ⅓ with the Squish Apple & Guava Puree. Freeze for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from freezer, stick the wooden stick in each mould and then top up the moulds with the Squish Apple Juice. Freeze until completely solid.

Guava and Summer Berry Ice Lollies

makes 4

Ingredients

1 x 200 ml 100% Summer Berries Juice Blend
1 x 110 ml Squish Apple & Guava Fruit Puree

Method

Fill the lollie moulds one third with the Squish Apple & Guava Puree. Freeze for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from freezer, stick the wooden stick in each mould and then top up the mould with the Squish Summer Berries Juice blend. Freeze until completely solid.

Prune and Pear Ice Lollies

makes 6

Ingredients

1 x 200 ml Squish Pear + Prune Juice Blend
1 x 200 ml Squish 100 % Apple, Sweet Potato + Butternut Juice Blend

Method

Fill the moulds ½ with the Squish Pear + Prune Juice Blend. Freeze for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from the freezer and insert a wooden stick into each ice lollie and top up with the Squish 100 % Apple, Sweet Potato + Butternut Juice Blend. Freeze until completely solid.

Peach Pear and Apple Ice Lollies

Makes 4

Ingredients

1 x 200 ml Squish 100 % Apple Juice
1 x 110 ml Peach + Pear 100 % Fruit Puree

Method

Fill the ice lollie moulds ⅔ with the apple juice.
Freeze for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from freezer, stick the wooden stick in each mould and then top up the mould with the Peach + Pear 100 % Fruit Puree. Freeze until completely solid.
