Funky Orange Sorbet

I had such an overwhelming response to the Watermelon sorbet I posted last week that I have to assume  everyone is still very much in a festive holiday mood and that no one is really ready to go back into work and school mode.

Watermelon Sorbet - the first of many sorbets to come!

I was a sorbet virgin for many years, always dreaming of one day being able to make it myself. Then last year some time, I tried it for the first time and made Strawberry and Basil sorbet that was utterly delicious.

Making Sorbet is just the easiest thing to do!!!

Sorbet making is a skill and only the good chefs can make it. Or else, this is what I have always believed. Every summer, I get so inspired by all the fresh berries and fruit, but my enthusiasm is soon dampened by my fear of making a flop.... (character flaw, I know!)
