Crunchies are one of those things that everyone loves, but no one ever has the time to bake . Well my 6 year old, Chloe baked these yesterday and it took her just 20 minutes (excluding baking time). So come on…try it yourself!!!

750ml coconut
250 ml cake flour
4 x 250 ml dry oats
375 ml sugar
2.5 ml salt
5 ml cinnamon
250 ml butter
3 Tbs maple syrup
10 ml bicarb dissolved in 60 ml milk

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Mix all dry ingredients
Melt butter and syrup
Add bicarb mixture.
Add to dry ingredients
Press down in baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Cut in blocks and cool

This recipe makes +- 72 crunchies
Make this recipe your own, by adding ANY ONE of the following:
