With my Coffee Crunchies I am literally killing two flies with one swap. It’s like having your morning coffee with a crunchy, except it is all captured in one delightful bite. The idea came to me, when I received my first(and hopefully not last) batch of café Enrista Coffees to review.

The coffee was not new to me, because my mom brought  some from a recent visit to up country and I thought it was a great product from various points of view.

Enrista coffee is roasted to perfection and grounded to a powder. Every sachet has captured the true aromatic coffee flavor. The best soluble coffee powder is sourced and mixed perfectly into a rich blend so that you can enjoy the perfect cup of coffee where every you are.

Coffee is not our only forte, we are perfectionists when it comes to satisfying our consumers and from our house of coffee we bring you the sinfully rich ‘Enrista Hot chocolate’.
My own personal thoughts on this product:
The taste – I think Enrista caters for every possible taste in coffee, from mild to strong and from sweet to bitter. I can now custom make each cup of coffee  to suit the tastes of my guests. Look this is not a latte, or a cappuccino or a skinny or whatever else you might order at a fancy coffee shop, but it is the best cup of instant coffee I have had in a while. My children love the hot chocolate and my husband went crazy over the white hot chocolate.
The convenience – Look, easier than this, is hard to find. It is as simple as boil a kettle and mix. The small sachets are easy to slip into a handbag or lunchbox and you can take  your own delicious cup of coffee where ever you go.
The packaging – I love the clean, full proof packaging. The easy tear off on the sachets work well and it really is a no mess no fuss drink.
The price – Well, at about R2.30 per cup, it is going to be hard to beat this product on price.
We have a manufacturing plant with quite a few staff members. To keep the kitchen stocked with coffee, milk and sugar has been a daunting task for me until now. With the individual sachets, it is easier to control, more hygienic and hassle free for sure.
All things considered, I think this is a great product, easy to use and for those days when you need something more than a regular cup of coffee, give it a try!
Not only does this coffee taste delicious, but I tried my hand at a few recipes with Enrista Coffee and the Coffee Crunchies were the first.Imagine eating your old beloved favorite crunchy, but with a coffee flavor. Yip, it sure is delicious!
Coffee Crunchies
Coffee Crunchies
yields 72 biscuits
750ml coconut
250 ml cake flour
4 x 250 ml dry oats
4 sachets café Enrista 3 in 1 Strong
375 ml sugar
2.5 ml salt
5 ml cinnamon
250 ml butter
3 Tbs maple syrup
10 ml bicarb dissolved in 60 ml milk
For the topping
200 gr dark chocolate – cut in chunks
2 sachets café Enrista 3 in 1 Strong’
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Mix all dry ingredients
Melt butter and syrup
Add bicarb mixture.
Add to dry ingredients
Press down in baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Cut in blocks and cool
For the topping
Melt the chocolate and stir in the powder from the 2 sachets of coffee. Drizzle over the biscuits for a delightful coffee treat.
