Creamy walnut dressing on grilled tuna on RSG
Posted on September 5, 2012 by Nina Timm in rsg
This creamy walnut dressing just blew me away. I thought I had the best creamy dressing recipe, but Zirkie from Pinkpolkadotfood send me a recipe, that is just so delicious. I could not stop thinking of new recipes and ideas to serve this delicious sauce with. Not only does the dressing have great flavor, but the walnuts add lots of texture and a rich creaminess too.
I think it can be perfect with just about any salad, grilled chicken, fish, roasted vegetables and even as a dipping sauce with vegetable crudites!
Tomorrow morning just after the 9 o’ clock news, Zirkie will be my guest on RSG and she will share her unique way of serving this dressing. Do tune in 100-104Fm or listen online here!
I found some delicious tuna steaks at the fishmonger today and I knew this creamy walnut dressing will be just perfect with the fish. I served it with a rustic green olive salad…… all the flavors just magically worked together. I might just have my mojo back!
