Doughnut + Croissant = Cro-naughties

Doughnut….no! Croissant….. no! Ok, cro-naughties then! It is almost impossible to stop after one! Luckily the recipe makes quite a few, so you can sneak in a second and third cro-naughty.

Doughnuts are soft and a little greasy, croissants are crispy on the outside and pillow-like on the inside. Neither of  the two is something  I would just whip up on my own, even though I like treating the family with something sweet every now and then! What if I tell you you can now have the best of both? A Cro-naughty is a cross between a croissant and a doughnut which is sugared, filled, and glazed.

I found my inspiration on the new! A lovely new App, with 10 Best Bakes from Meringues to cheesecake and decadent cakes! What I loved about the App is that you can cook in a style that you prefer. There are easy to follow videos or photo illustrations and text. Even the tedious task of making the layered croissant pastry, was effortless and easy to follow!
